Play Store Console Setup
Follow these steps to create Subscriptions for your app on the Play Store Developer Console and make content available for recurring purchase on Android platforms:
Login to the Google Play Console and select your app.
Click on the Subscriptions menu item under Monetize->Products in the sidebar.
Click on the Create subscription button.
Enter the following subscription info in the popup menu that appears (fields with an asterisk are required):
Product ID*
After filling out this field, note the value that you entered. You will need to enter this in the Viewcastle Admin Portal in a later step.
Name*
Click the Create button on the popup menu to continue to a screen with the subscription's details.

Add subscription benefits
Click on this task to be taken to the Edit subscription details screen
On this screen, you can update details such as the name, description, list of subscription benefits, and tax/compliance settings.
Click the Save changes button at the bottom right of this screen to save any changes made.
Navigate back to the previous screen.
Add a base plan
Click on this task to be taken to the Add Base plan screen
This screen allows you to add the following info to the subscription's plan:
Base plan ID
Type
Auto-renewing
Prepaid
Installments
Tags
Price and availability
To set a price for multiple countries simultaneously:
You can also manage the base plan's availability by clicking the Manage country / region availability button
Click on the Save button on the bottom right of the Add base plan screen to save the changes to the base plan.
Navigate back to the previous screen
Add offers, such as a free trial (optional)
Activate a base plan to make the subscription available
Click on this step
In the popup menu that appears, choose the base plan to be activated and click the Activate base plan button.
This will take you to a screen where you can verify the base plan details that you entered in a previous step.
Click on the Activate button on the bottom right of this screen.
The subscription is now ready to use in your app.
Connecting the Subscription to a Product in the Admin Portal
1. Navigate to the Products menu in the Admin Portal
2. Select the relevant product from the list, or create a new product if it doesn't exist yet.
3. To connect the subscription to a Product in the Admin Portal, copy the subscription's Product ID (from step 4 in the previous section) into the Android IAP SKU field in the product's edit menu. The Product ID for the subscription can be found on the main Subscriptions screen in the Play Store Console.
4. Ensure that the Recurring toggle is turned on.
5. Click the Save button.
